Our Story
At K&A Contracting, our story is rooted in family, passion, and a commitment to quality. I’m Alex, and the idea for this company began years ago, inspired by the time I spent working with my dad in his handyman business. As a kid, I learned the ins and outs of home repairs and even got hands-on experience helping him flip houses. Those years shaped my love for this work and planted the dream of running my own business one day.
Life took its turns, and after my dad had to close his business to care for my mom, I spent my late teens and early twenties doing side projects whenever I could. While I enjoyed it, I never got the chance to pursue it full time. In early 2023, after my mom’s passing, I realized I couldn’t wait any longer to follow my passion. Tired of corporate culture and eager to create something meaningful, I left my sales job in remodeling and launched K&A Contracting.
This dream wouldn’t have been possible without my wife, Kelly, who has been my biggest supporter and an integral part of this journey. She quite literally puts the “K” in K&A. Together, we’re building a company dedicated to providing high-quality repairs and remodeling services, treating every project with care and every customer like family.
